SMS Program Terms
IPM Scheduler · last updated July 2026
IPM Scheduler (operated by Independent Physician Management, LLC) sends SMS text messages from +1 (844) 921-8690 to the credentialed clinicians of physician groups that use the service. The program is workforce scheduling only — messages are never sent to patients and never contain marketing. Messages carry only staff-scheduling content and never contain patient information or Protected Health Information (PHI). Providers are prohibited from sending any patient information through the service.
What we text you about
- Schedule notifications (a shift assigned, changed, or published)
- Shift-coverage requests and swap confirmations
- Time-off request reminders and confirmations
- Replies from Lyra, the scheduling assistant, when you text her
- Account messages such as password-reset links
Consent
Providers opt in verbally during their onboarding call or in writing at hire. The verbal consent question asked on the onboarding call is:
“Would you like to receive text messages from IPM Scheduler at this number about your schedule — things like shift notifications, coverage requests, and time-off reminders? Message frequency varies with your schedule activity, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. Do I have your consent to send these texts?”
Consent is recorded on the provider's profile. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of employment or of using the service.
Opting out and getting help
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out; you'll receive one final confirmation message and nothing more.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact lyra@ipmscheduler.com.
- Scheduling notifications continue by app push and email if you opt out of SMS.
The fine print
- Message frequency varies with scheduling activity.
- Message and data rates may apply, per your mobile plan.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- No mobile numbers or opt-in data are shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- See the privacy policy for how provider data is handled.
